Give Back to your community:

Fill a Truck Challenge  – (Along the parade route and at Foodland) Give from the heart this Christmas. Help support our community by sponsoring a family through the hamper program run by our local food bank (by donating the cost of a food hamper). This program helps make Christmas more festive for local families who may otherwise do without things we all take for granted. Your help goes a long way in providing for local residents in need. Whether you are able to sponsor a whole family (by providing food and gifts) or by just donating one or more nonperishable food items during the Santa Clause Parade’s food drive, your donation will be greatly appreciated. Donations will be collected by the 1st Osgoode Scouting Troup.

This year all Osgoode residents are challenged to donate and help fill a truck with non-perishable food items. If you can’t join us on December 3, please remember that Osgoode Foodland accepts donations all year round. No donation is too small, every little bit helps. Here is a list of articles needed to successfully run the food bank, and, of course, cash is always welcomed:

  • Canned tuna/meat
  • Cheese;
  • Fruits/Pudding/Apple sauce for kid’s snacks
  • Juice boxes for kids
