Executive and Committee Work

The Osgoode Co-operative Nursery School Incorporated is a non-profit, non-denominational preschool licensed by the Day Nurseries Branch of the Ontario Ministry of Community and Social Services. It is owned and operated by its parent members through an elected Executive. As a co-operative, all business of the school including rental of facilities and hiring of staff is carried out by the Executive with input from all its members. Election of board officials takes place in August of each year at the Orientation Meeting. If you serve on the Executive you have the first choice of a committee. In times of high enrollment Executive members are not required to participate in committees (President and Treasurer are always excluded from committees). Suggestions and input from all members is encouraged and appreciated.
