You can smell, taste and feel the difference of our fresh, locally grown garlic.

Can you imagine cooking without the exquisite taste of garlic? Welcome to Gino's Garlic Farm - a small, family-owned independent farm, located in the Osgoode area. We have been growing garlic for over 15 years, and offer a wide range of knowledge and products to people who come from all areas of eastern Ontario. Garlic has always been an important ingredient in our meals, and with it now being proven for its "healing powers", gives us more reason to include it in our everyday diet. Here at Gino's Garlic Farm, we offer:
	Fresh hardneck, red-variety garlic (Racambole) that has the distinct advantage of a higher than normal allicin content, a key ingredient in fighting cancer, high blood pressure, blood disorders, and intestinal infections, as well as numerous other ailments. Since allicin exists only in raw garlic, cooking with it causes this powerful natural antibiotic to become less potent. The fresher the garlic, the better a fighter it is. Our garlic is naturally dried, providing a product with a longer shelf life than most store-bought garlic that has been mechanically dried.
Throughout the year we offer a variety of garlic products, including:
	Garlic by the pound; in braids and wreaths; or seed stock (all available from August until December, while supplies last);
	Greenhouse-grown organic garlic greens, similar to leeks but with fatter bulbs and a strong garlic taste (available from March until June);
	Scapes, sold as pickled or fresh to be used in stir-fries or salads (only available in June/July).
	Garlic chives and pickled garlic products (available year-round);
Coming in the near future, we will be providing an organic pest control - a garlic concentrate. This product will provide a safe and natural method to keep control of different insects, like aphids, spidermites, whiteflies, etc. in your garden - any size of garden! All this without the use of harmful pesticides!
Also in the springtime, our greenhouse is bursting with a variety of herbs, vegetable and flowering bedding plants, for the home gardener. We also have a supply of white pine and white spruce trees, ranging from 3 to 12 feet.
